Kenapakah? Kenapakah? Kenapakah?

Assalamualaikum, semoga kalian semua berada dalam keadaan sihat sejahtera dan diberkati Illahi selalu insyaallah.

Kenapakah ummah zaman sekarang tidak sehebat seperti mana ummah yang lalu?
Kenapakah ummah zaman sekarang mudah diperkotak-katik dan sering ditindas?
Kenapakah ummah zaman sekarang sering ketinggalan?
Kenapakah ummah zaman sekarang buruk akhlaknya, kasar tuturnya dan berpecah-belah?

Itulah persoalan yang sering memeningkan kepalaku ini. Islam itu agama yang kuat, sempurna dan maju. Namun kenapa perkara ini berlaku?

Tatkala mindaku berputar-putar mencari penyelesain kepada segala persoalan ini, terlintas difikiranku akan kata-kata dari seorang ustaz yang aku dengar dari corong radio suatu ketika dahulu.

Beliau mengatakan bahawa Rasullallah pernah bersabda mafhumnya:
"Pada akhir zaman nanti, ummah Islam akan dikelilingi oleh musuh-musuhnya dari segenap pelusuk, seperti orang yang kelaparan yang mengelilingi makanan yang terhidang. Sahabat bertanya, kenapakah hal ini berlaku, adakah sebab bilangan kami sedikit? Rasullallah menjawab, tidak, bilangan kamu ramai tetapi ibarat pasir yang ditiup angin. Sahabat bertanya lagi, bagaimana boleh berlaku begini? Baginda s.w.a menbalas kerana Allah telah mencabut rasa ta'ajub dan gerun dari hati musuh-musuh kamu terhadap ummah Islam. Sahabat bertaya lagi, kenapa? Baginda s.w.a. membalas kerana ummah zaman itu terlalu sukakan dunia dan takutkan mati."

Memang benarlah seperti mana yang diungkapkan oleh Rasullallah. Lihatlah bertapa sukanya ummah akhir zaman ini kepada dunia hingga melupakan tanggung jawab sebagai seorang muslim. Mendahulukan urusan duniwi melebihi urusan ukhrawi. Agama diabaikan. Cuba kita lihat, berapa ramai diantara ummah Islam zaman ini mengimarahkan masjid dan majlis-majlis ilmu seperti mana mengimarahkan konsert dan pusat membeli-belah. Azan yang berkumandang hanya ibarat halwa telinga, tidak diambil peduli dan diendahkan. Tuntutan syariah diabaikan, tetapi tuntutan dunia sering diagung-agungkan.

Seperkara lagi, zaman sekarang banyak produk-produk yang dihasilkan untuk mengatasi proses penuaan. Terlalu asyik hendak mengejar kemudaan membuatkan seseorang itu leka dan lalai. Di fikirannya akan terlintas " aku masih muda lagi" walhal umur sudah menjangkau 40-an. Ini lah tanda-tanda takut kan mati sebab terlalu asyik dengan dunia. Leka dibuai nikmat dunia yang hanya sementara. Sememangnya Islam menganjurkan ummatnya untuk menjaga penampilan diri, tetapi dengan niat untuk mengagungkan kekuasaan Illahi dan sentiasa mengingatinya bukan melupainya. Terlalu mengajar kejelitaan hingga amal ibadat tunggang-langgang.

Seperkara lagi yang paling menyedihkan adalah kita dapat lihat dewasa kini, keruntuhan akhlak terutamanya dikalangan muda-mudi amatlah ketara sekali. Walhal, akhlak mulia adalah teras dalam pengajaran syariah islamiyah. Lihat sahaja banyak kes-kes berlaku saban hari seperti khalwat dan penzinaan berleluasa, perjudian bermaharajalela, riba bertaburan sini-sana, dan berbagai-bagai lagi. Inilah tanda-tanda akhir zaman. Maksiat berleluasa tanpa kita boleh berbuat apa-apa. Manakah silapnya? manakah salahnya? Pokok pangkalnya kembalilah kepada ajaran Islam yang sempurna sebelum terlewat.

Akhir kalam, aku ingin berkongsi satu ungkapan dari ulama:
"Tiada kemenangan kecuali dengan adanya kekuatan, tiada kekuatan kecuali dengan adanya perpaduan, tiada perpaduan kecuali dengan adanya nilai-nilai murni(akhlak), tiada nilai-nilai murni kecuali dengan adanya agama ini (Islam)"

Kuseru pada sekalian muslim diseluruh alam ini, kembalilah pada ajaran Islam, padanya tersemat seribu satu rahmah dan maghfirah.

My working journey

Assalamualaikum, may you all are in good health and blessed by Allah always be it present and the future.

Its been a while since I last post on this blog. Been quite busy lately. Alhamdullillah, now I'm working with one of the renounce consultant company in Malaysia which Light House Consulting Sdn. Bhd. For you guys information, this consultanting company organized training for corporate company both in Malaysia and also abroad such in middle east. Last Monday, the company just finished one training program with Pharmaniaga Manufacturing Bhd. The training is about TOT (Training of Trainers). The company is planning to establish its own Training Department to train their employees, thus they invited LH Consulting to deliver the training for their potential trainers. The total number of participants is 25 people and there are among seniors employees of the company. Through the training session that last for 3 days, and was organized at Kompleks PKNS Bandar Baru Bangi. I've learned a lot on what is it actually the training of trainers is all about. It is more details and comprehensive than I ever thought.

Apart of the thing that I could share here that, when we organize training, first thing first is that we must BUY IN from the participants. In oder words, we must gain the participants understanding and attention by opening their mind on what the training is all about and how it is actually going to benefit them. We must have the ROAD MAP of the training session so that participants will understand and see the clear picture of their direction. Another thing is that when we organize or deliver training we normally focus mouch of our attention on the content of the training and trying our best to cover every bit of it. That is our mistake, it is not the matter of trying to cover all the contents alone, but at the same time we have to build ENGAGEMENT between our selves and the participants. Lastly, in order to ensure that our training is effective and interesting, the key is to use VARITIES OF METHODS of delivery but must ensure to BALANCE it accordingly.

Throughout the 3 days training programme, the participants were very participative and actively involved in all activities and games. It was fun and exciting. The programme gives me ideas on how to conduct the training in the future insyaallah.

We always heard a phrase "two heads is better than one", which implies that work as a team is better than working individually. The result will be a lot better from doing the jobs or tasks individually. A person ability is limited, but if it is combine together it will create a synergy that will boost up the performance.

There are two important element in team work namely trust and commitment. These two elements will ensure the team will work effectively. Through trust and commitment, this will eliminate communication barrio among the teammates.

So work as a team, build trust among teammates and increase their commitment in solving the task efficiently. Through team work we can make thing become easy. As the malay proverbs says
"Berat sama dipikul, ringan sama dijinjing"

Thought of the day # 4

We heard people complaints about their job stress, life and many other things. Today I'm going to share a story that may help resolve those issues.

"Life is like a cup of coffee"
-the original author of the story was unknown but highly appreciated.

A group of alumni get together to meet with their lecturer. The meeting turn out to be to sharing moment about their stress of work and life. The lecturer offered them coffee. He than went to the kitchen and return a while later with several cups which are, porcelain, plastic, crystal, and glass. He than offered them to help them selves with the coffee. Once all of them have their coffee, the lecturer said:

"Look, imagine that life is the coffee, and the work or job is the cup. It is natural that all of us want the best for ourselves. When you all help your selves with the coffee, you all took the best cup and leave behind the plain one. You even eying on each others' cup. But what you really want is the coffee not the cup. The cup does not even add quantity to the coffee. Its function just to contain the coffee. If life is the coffee, than the jobs and works is the cup. Their function is merely to contain life. So savor the coffee, not focusing on the cup. When we focus our mind on the stress of work, we will not enjoy the true taste of life. So, focus on the life it self and you would be grateful.
Live simply, care deeply."

Thought of the day #3

People always looking, searching on how to be happy in their life. Through happiness it will create enthusiasm to work and improve one productivity and efficiency. So, the question is how to be happy?

Here a simple answer to it:

"The happiest people is not those that have the best of everything, but those that make the best of everything that they have"

In other word, be grateful with what you have, and maximize the potential of what you have. Even in Islam also Muslims are urged to be grateful and thankful to Allah for all the bounties and strive their best with what they have.

A piece of advice

We occasionally take several thing for granted without knowing the prior importance of that particular thing.

There are two things that we always take it for granted and never pay good intention to it. Those things namely communication and punctuality. People always ignore the importance of good communication with others. Through good communication we can build good relationship with others and creating a conducive living environment. Communication is a bridge the connect ourselves to others. If we burn down that bridge, how are we going to connect with others effectively and efficiently?

Punctuality is another thing that we normally take for granted. We always assume that others will wait for us. We never consider those people feeling. But what if we are the one in their place, what would we feel? Punctuality signifies our commitment and sense of responsibility towards certain matters. If we ignore the element of punctuality, it simple shows that we are not committed and responsible enough to that thing.

So my friends, let us change our attitude. Let improve what is good and left behind what is bad. May we be among those who will succeed and prosper insyaallah.

Sebaik hiasan adalah wanita solehah

Terciptanya Adam sebagai insan pertama, Nabi yang terdahulu, membuktikan kekuasan Dia yang Maha Esa. Diajar dan dibimbing segala ilmu yang ada, moga menjadi ciptaan yang agung yang mulia. Lalu tunduklah sekalian Malaikat pada kekuasaan Dia yang Maha Esa.

Namun, jauh di sudut hati, terpalit rasa kesunyian, dambakan belaian kasih dan sayang. Lalu hadirnya Hawa melengkapi kekosongan dijiwa. Diciptakannya dari rusuk Adam, moga saling memahami membimbing ke jalan hakiki. Hadirnya Hawa mengisi kesunyian yang ada, mewarnai hayat dengan kasih dan sayang dibawah rahmat Dia yang Maha Esa.

Sesungguhnya wanita itu adalah hiasan agung di dunia ini. Namun sebaik hiasan adalah wanita yang memiliki iman dan taqwa, akhlak mulia pakaian diri, sopan santun hiasan diri, berbudi pekerti amalan sehair-hari. Sesunguhnya wanita itu mampu menggongcang iman dijiwa andai tanpa didikan yang sempurna. Wahai anak Adam, dalam mencari teman yang hakiki, pilih lah mengikut tuntutan Syari’, jangan mengikut pujukan nafsu sendiri. Pandanglah dengan mata iman dan taqwa, jangan memandang dengan mata hati yang melulu. Berwaspadalah, kerana pandangan itu adalah diantara panahan-panahan syaitan. Sesungguhnya dinikahi wanita itu kerana empat perkara: kerana kecantikannya, kerana keturunannya, kerana hartanya, kerana agamanya. Pilihlah kerana agama kerana itu pasti menguntungkan.

Jika ingin teman secekal Hajar,
Jadilah setabah Nadi Ibrahim,

Jika ingin didamping secantik Zulaika,
Jadilah secekal Nabi Yusuf,

Jika ingin isteri sehebat Khadijah,
Jadilah suami seperti Rasullallah,

Sesungguhnya rasa kasih dan sayang itu andai dibina atas dasar keikhlasan dihati, penuh tawakkal pada Illahi, nescaya berkekalan hingga abadi.

Sesungguhnya dunia ini adalah perhiasan semata,
Sebaik hiasan adalah wanita yang solehah,
Sebaik wanita yang solehah adalah isteri misali,
Melahir membimbing zuriat solehi,
Sebagai pewaris agama mulia lagi suci ini,
Terus membela nasib ummah ini,
Dalam mencapai kegemilangan didunia ini.
