Training with PERKIM

Assalamualaikum, may you all are in good health and are blessed by Allah always insyaallah....

Last weekend, I've just finished training program with PERKIM (Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Malaysia). The training was on empowering individual excellence. The name of the training was NOBLE. It was a 2 day training program held at De Baron Hotel, Langkawi Island. Its been a long time since I last visited Langkawi. Our hotel is near to Pekan Kuah.

Just to share with you guys, PERKIM is an NGO established by Tunku Abdul Rahman with the main objective which is to assist and help the Muallaf to be a good and better Muslim. In addition to that, they also have other objectives which are, education, welfare and development of Muslim community. A lot I've learned throughout the training pertaining to this unique organization and their struggle to help our brother Muslim.

The best part of the training was even The Honorable Secretary General of PERKIM, Tan Sri Dato' Dr Abd Hamid Othman present throughout the training sessions and even participate in several games and activities.

In short, this training is a bit different for me compare to previous training sessions that I've attended. It give a exposure on how to interact with those who are higher in authority. At the end of the training program, we have the opportunity to take a tour around the island.

The end.............

p/s: I'm looking forward for next training sessions
